I'm a little bit concerned .. people came in to see our place yesterday, and the rental agent called us half an hour before coming and we were both at work, so of course we weren't there. We weren't expecting anyone in and I left a drawer open that I keep my digital camera in. Now I can't find the camera. So either I have it around somewhere, concealed in a pile of junk (very possible) or someone lifted it from the open drawer (seems unlikely, but I'm worried ..)

erm. i'd bring it up with the rental agent if you can't find it, be really nice but see if they cover such things. that would be a damn shame.

I believe they are supposed to give 24 hours notice before showing, although it may be that you have to request that first. On the other hand, it sounds like they are being nice about letting you out of the lease...

actually we aren't sure ... they said so in person, but are not responding to our emails requesting "confirmation' of that.

we could ask the agents not to show without 24 hour notice, I'm sure, but we really want it rented so it's probably better for us to assume that someone might show it at any moment.
