this weekend/movies
Jun. 26th, 2005 10:53 pmThursday I went with
rojagato and
lepidosiren to see Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I liked it a lot though I would have preferred more about the parrots and less about Mark Bittner, really. It was still good, though - just more of a sweet story and less of a parrot documentary than I expected.
I think Friday I did work while
mrzero was introduced to Firefly by
silas7. Then yesterday we took off for a long air-conditioned lunch and then a longer air-conditioned movie. We aimed for Star Wars but got to the Common a little early so we went for Batman Begins instead. I'm sure it was much better anyway. I was surprised I liked it - I didn't care for the other one I saw (the second?) ... but it was really good. Made me really want to see Equilibrium again too.
This evening I've been working mostly, though I was hoping today would be work-free since I really wanted to make it to a clothing swap. Didn't happen though. Just spent a while half-watching Big Night while I worked .. that last scene, the breakfast-making part, is so good. One of those movies I'm always happy to see.

I think I can arrange another Equilibrium viewing (along with dip) before you guys go. I'm just sayin'.
