This morning as I was waiting for the bus at MIT, a bike cop rode slowly across the street with the crowds at the crosswalk. Halfway across, a plastic bottle of salad dressing fell from his pack and hit the road. A student behind him picked up the bottle and tried to chase him down, waving. Someone else saw the waving arm and flagged down the cop. The cop reclaimed his lost dressing with an embarrassed smile.
