any other local people have their power go off last night? ours did, and it's happened a couple of times recently. I know at least one night it happened to a bunch of people but we're wondering if there's a problem with just our house ...

around 3am I would reckon based on the clock in the kitchen. I think it happens about once every few months

Yeah, East Arlington goes through its phases. It will get particular bad when summer kicks in.

Lay in candles and batteries, and consider getting a UPS if your computers are tethered.

the power has gone off at my place at least 4 times in the past 2 weeks. i know there are a bunch of nstar trucks working a couple blocks away from my place, so i just assumed that was the problem for us here in cambridge.

ditto to what sadira said. We've had our power go off once or twice every other day for the past week or so. To the point where we've had to set our cell phone alarm clocks so we'd be able to get up for work...

one thing about east arlington--your power isn't super reliable. It's gotten better, but it's still not great. Make sure you have surge protectors on anything that needs it!

Our power went out sometime early this morning, but it came right back.
