huh, 2 broken axles on my friends list. wonder if that's because the temperature changes really seem to have torn up the streets in the past month ..

i'm way behind after losing 2 days to illness this weekend (and after having a lazy day of doing nothing important yesterday, by way of recovery). i really shouldn't have gone out saturday at all, because i think all I did was stare dazedly at people and things, and even that small, restrained gathering felt overwhelming.

ok, talks to get ready and papers to write.

yeah the axles will break due to a number of things...if certain suspension components are worn they can put stress on the axle itself that would normally be handled by the suspension. If the axle is already worn and weakened, then it can die pretty quickly. That's the layperson's explanation =)
