xatalantaxjust spent about 45 minutes trying once again to track down a stupid song I liked in 1991. it may be "4 peace 4 unity" by space 1, because I found an archive of italian pop charts for that summer which is dominated by this song, and I am guessing that it was popular in italy as well as spain (where it played in clubs and on the radio constantly). now I'm looking for an audio file to check.
[edit: never mind, probably not it. that's on a compilation called "italian dance classics: downbeat & soul" and it is certainly not downbeat. fast hard techno. why doesn't spain have their stupid dance charts from 12 years ago online! germany has like everything archived, though not from that long ago]
now I still have the mystery song from that one daniel myer set to identify. arcanus didn't know, so I don't know who will. should ask spikey b actually.
and then there's that other song I don't know that turns up at manray, that one should be easy enough to identify if I actually go out one of these days.
