(no subject)

Ok, I made 4 pies in the past week. 2 were for us, eaten at home (most of one is still in the fridge) and 2 were for gatherings. Both of the pies we kept were great, and both of the pies we brought to other places were substandard. Annoying. At least there was so much food around it didn't really matter. I should have just made a double batch of the pumpkin cookies with brown sugar glaze, because they rocked.

Last night at the club was a lot of fun except that near the end of the night, I walked through a pool of gross overflow water in the ladies' room, and my shoes and the cuffs of my pants smell like a sewer. I don't even want to put the pants in the washing machine without a good soak first. Bleargh.

So full .. almost too full to type.
