Jul. 20th, 2003 06:07 pmI wanted to make dinner with stuff from the garden tonight, so I started with a zucchini (the first one so far) and scallions with lemon juice and topped with shaved manchego. The first bite was great because I mostly tasted the flavorings, which worked pretty well, but then I realized that the zucchini itself was not so good. Hmm. Maybe the next ones will be better. So, I went with a soy-chicken burger with basil, sage, and oregano. That worked.
The tomatoes are coming along fast, so soon I'll have those to work with too.
